Description from Watters website: Ivory Silk Taffeta gown with hand embroidered v-neck bodice, capped sleeve and full skirt with pockets. Covered buttons on back empire band. Chapel Train.
This dress is absolutely gorgeous! It is ightweight and comfortable and has pockets that come in handy for a handkerchief and lipstick touchups. I purchased this dress used but in great condition on preownedweddingdresses.com in the fall of 2011 but was unable to fit the size 10 by my wedding date. Thanks to a very generous groom, I was still able to be an Escalante bride and I loved everything about this dress!
The photos are of the actual dress taken 2/2013 after being stored in our guest room closet (non-smoking home) in the garment bag. Additional photos can be emailed on request. The dress has a french bustle which is very easy and beautiful. There is some very minor wear at the hemline of the dress as the original bride said she had an outdoor ceremony. It is completely unnoticable when the dress is being worn.
My experience with this dress is that it is really true to street size and an inch to two inch heels are perfect. The deep v-neckline has been tacked to a more modest point which still makes for a very flattering neckline. A french bustle was also added.
